Phoenix Environmental

Phoenix Environmental, Inc. is a Michigan Corporation formed in early 1998. The fueling systems company provides fuel management, energy, and environmental services and equipment to industrial, municipal and commercial entities primarily in Michigan and throughout the Midwest.

Major design and construction management firms work with our fueling systems contractors for design, installation and procurement. Phoenix Environmental, Inc. personnel are factory trained and certified to install and service all equipment we sell. Fleet and facilities managers use Phoenix for maintenance and regulatory compliance for fuel systems.

Meet the Team


Vicki Reid Smith

With over 25 years experience in business management and operations, Ms. Reid Smith has a unique and broad background in corporate and higher education human resource management and brings a diverse array of relevant experience as a company corporate executive, business owner, and financial manager. She co-established Phoenix Environmental, Inc. in Feb 1998 and is responsible for the operation and financial management of the corporation.

Casey J. Smith

Mr. Smith is a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a B.S in Geological Engineering. He holds several OSHA certifications as well as numerous equipment installation and repair certifications. Mr. Smith is a Registered Professional Geologist in the State of Tennessee. Mr. Smith is also a National Class A and B UST System Operator. Casey is responsible for the technical operations and management of the corporation.

Clyde Rivard

Mr. Rivard has a distinguished background in higher education and firefighting. Clyde has considerable experience in customized curriculum, training design and the delivery of online & on-site training programs. In addition to holding a MBA degree, Clyde is a National Class B UST System Operator.

Gilbert Gerardo

Gilbert Gerardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wayne state University. With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Gerardo has a diverse background in Property Management, Municipality and Construction Management; his experience spreads through the country and locally. Gilbert handles the daily operations and business development at Phoenix Environmental and is responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing and decision making to attain a desirable profit for the organization.

Mike Goodwin

Mr. Goodwin has more than 13 years of pipefitting experience with fuel system installation and fuel management, which includes AST and UST installation. He is OSHA Certified and holds numerous equipment installation and repair certifications as well as a National Class B UST System Operator and inspector of USTs.


Phoenix Environmental, Inc. will provide the expertise to advise our clients on means and methods, operation and maintenance to ensure the highest level of reliability possible for fuel systems and emergency power to mission critical facilities.
